Episode 4 of the MOM podcast series features a MOM remix of the We Cut Corners track ‘Male Mind’. We Cut Corners are a duo (Conall and John) and are probably the best band in Ireland right now. The original cut of ‘Male Mind’ will feature on their forthcoming debut album; ‘Today I realised I could go home backwards’.
Other episodes in the podcast series include a recording of the acoustic version of Plain taken from a concert at the Gewandhaus, Leipzig during the European Tour of 2010 (The uproarious applause at the beginning came after I confessed a life-long devotion to the local strudel), a live recording of Caffeine Dreams – for extra authenticity I’ve left the audience’s hostility in at the end and a video for MOM’s performance of an intrepretive dance at the Vatican for His Holiness Pope Benedict.
